Random (pics and) thoughts. Given that I am a very polite person, I will try to avoid rants. And, since I am university-educated, I will try to comply with (most of) the rules contained in Strunk and White's The Elements of Style. In these respects, I am compelled to admit that the previous sentences are not such a great start.
